Between towns it's pretty easy

to get up to at least 75, it’s the slowing down to 30 in the towns and the stop lights that make it long.

All the times I’ve driven it, the cop situation is generally pretty good, you won’t see a ton of them but you will see at least a couple especially on a Friday afternoon.

The Evo is the best smartphone on the market right now.

Even though it’s over a year old. Here’s the problem: Sprint has discontinued it. No longer being shipped to stores and it’s being taken out of stock. The reason: it sells too much.

The Evo outsells EVERY other phone Sprint has, by far. The EVO 3D is a very good phone, but the 3D function is only for pictures that you take with the phone. It’s still a good phone, but it’s not as overall perfect as the Evo.

I would call around to Sprint stores and see if they have any.

Also, the Epic Touch 4G is a pretty damn nice phone and has the best hardware out there.

Me, I can never give up the ability to customize my phone and have direct access to the files on my phone, like music, videos, etc. I had an iPhone for 3 years and this was my biggest issue.

Some people really like the simplistic nature of the iPhone and how everything is simple, easy to figure out and works really well within those confines.

During lovemaking, your partner’s enjoyment should be your prime concern….not your own. If you do this then you will be a technically and emotionally great lover….This kind of lovemaking yields an orgasm multiplied many times by the emotional satisfaction of knowing your partner appreciates you….Without the emotion and letting the other know they are giving you pleasure sex is merely “mechanical” with no advantage over masturbation.

look at online banks like Ally or ING

they wont be charging any thing for using their debit cards, and their checking accounts are free as well. citibank has also said they arent charging for debit cards.

and any bank that has assets totaling under $10 billion was exempt the law as well.

I didn't realize how surpisingly tough the opening part of the Cowboys schedule has been

@ NY Jets (2-2)
@ San Francisco (3-1)
Washington (3-1)
Detroit (4-0)
@ New England (3-1)

After New England, it’s not going to be as tough, but there’s still some good teams on there.

St. Louis (0-4)
@ Philly (1-3, but the talent is there)
Seattle (at home, yay)

But then

Buffalo (3-1)
@ Washington (3-1)
Miami (0-4)
@ Arizona (1-3)
New York (3-1)
@ Tampa (3-1)
Philly (1-3)
@ New York (3-1)

I like steak.

Keri on the Rangers:
When you’ve built a lineup full of mashers and a bullpen full of executioners, whether through scouting and development, free-agent signings or trades, you set your opponents up to fail, and you to succeed. The Rangers added two beasts like Beltre and Napoli to an already potent lineup and made them your number-five and number-six hitters, wielding offensive talent that few other teams can touch. They stayed aggressive at the August 31 waiver trade deadline, snagging a capable lefty in Mike Gonzalez right at the wire, adding another weapon they could deploy in a big spot to get through a season-changing game.

To have fun, duh.

Plus you get a ton of bonus points when you can say “yeah I took this one [wherever/whenever]” when someone asks about your pictures.

There are a ton of generic “cool looking” prints out there that lose something as a result.

Don't have many other options for large-scale reproduction

And going around taking pictures of things isn’t fun to me.

Indirectly, I'm guessing.

You need higher res sources at huge sizes like that, and you’re not going to be able to sell as many. So if you make it “artsy” you can charge more than for good ol’ poster prints.

Are you just looking for photos, or other sorts of images too?

I used to have some links to some cool geometric/abstract prints and such, but I don’t have them on my work computer. May still have them at home.

See, but none of these carry any meaning

That one I linked is Philly, and I saw that view almost everyday.

Gary Patterson is as pissed as I was about the refs in the TCU/SMU game; during a MWC Conference Call
@IDS_BroncoBeat
Bronco Beat
TCU coach Gary Patterson just ripped the Conference USA officials in the SMU game. “Right now I understand why I left Conference USA.”
@IDS_BroncoBeat

Patterson: “They gave them two touchdowns …. They changed the complexion of the whole ballgame with about 5 or 6 calls.”

by Maximilian on Oct 4, 2011 12:21 PM CDT reply actions

I've never seen Patterson so angry before. I'd like to see him try to be more positive with the players.

Perhaps it won’t make any difference, but the yelling approaching hasn’t been working much this season.

I like steak.

by hornedfrogs45 on Oct 4, 2011 12:24 PM CDT up reply actions

The yelling isn't the issue.

The suck is the issue. The 2008 recruiting class, outside of Ed Wesley, looks like a huge bust.

"You're failing Seymour; what is it with you and failure?"

by Maximilian on Oct 4, 2011 12:30 PM CDT up reply actions

Uhh, 2009 was one of our best classes, from impact personnel/high ceiling guys

Waymon James was ranked 10th at the RB position/103 nationally, and the 13th best player in the state, per Rivals. Casey Pachall was a 4* too. That class also had David Johnson and Tanner Brock, who are starting too. I’d say 09 was a very good class.

2010 was a deep class, but the 2 biggest gets from that class are either done with football due to injury (Ethan Grant) or didn’t make it in due to grades (Curtis Carter).

2011 was our best class ever (Cam White/David Porter/Brandon Carter/Jason Verrett all playing now), but we’ll see how it works out long term.

"You're failing Seymour; what is it with you and failure?"

by Maximilian on Oct 4, 2011 12:50 PM CDT up reply actions

Yeah, that's what I thought. KF was saying we were missing on all of these recruits.

Even the best programs have classes that aren’t very good, from what I understand.

I like steak.

by hornedfrogs45 on Oct 4, 2011 12:55 PM CDT up reply actions

It's a gamble with recruiting.

You don’t lose on the kids you miss out on, you lose on the kids you get that bust. Lots of our secondary issues are a result of just lesser talent.

Wow. I'm not usually one to pin a game on the refs.

But if Gary says it…

It was poorly officiated, to be sure.

But we had our chances to shut down their offense and blew them. The refs may have played some part, but we lost that game ourselves.

Looking over the notes on the iphone press conference...

There is no iPhone 5 with a bigger screen? Its just iPhone 4s?

Nice camera upgrades though… siri digital assistant thing sounds very cool, but it seems to be suggesting its 4s exclusive when I can’t imagine a technical reason the software couldn’t run on the iPhone 4 or at least iPad 2 which has the same speed, though itd be less useful on an iPad I’d still like to have it.

Finally on sprint anyway.

I dont know, the last thing I read was that its 4S only

Which is really annoying, I want it on the iPad and I shouldn’t have to upgrade for software features like that. You havn’t for any other iOS features unless it was limited by hardware (not enough ram to run iOS 4/5).

Not sure yet though, and maybe they will just add it later after trying to drive more iphone 4s sales this year.

significantly upgraded, billed as an entirely new feature.

Integrated into all the default apps (launched from one screen) like emailing, texting, GPS/maps, and stuff like weather, general question returns from wolfram alpha via voice, etc. there is a video on apples page. Kind of cheesy vid but I can see it being useful.

For those who don't wander into the GDTs or PGTs

Aqua has requested prayers for his one month old baby boy, William.

This is reposted from the PGT:

I’ll keep you guys posted about what is happening. William turned one month old yesterday. We decided to take him in to the doctor this morning because we noticed yesterday that he had stopped using his arms and legs volitionally. He would still grasp if you touched his palm, and he still arches his feet, but his limbs are basically limp. His doctor sent us over here because she couldn’t get a reflexive response from him and his latch while feeding is getting weaker.

We don’t know anything yet, but the scenarios we’ve been told are not good.
