Coming out of a major holiday weekend, with free agency still in a deep freeze, things are a little slow in Baseball World right now. However, over the next week or two, we should start to see some transactions shake loose and before we know it, Albert Pujols will be a Ranger.

The Rangers-impacting aspect of this news is Crane is apparently a big fan of the Rangers' front office and Rangers assistant GM Thad Levine looks like an early contender for the job.
