So, I read the article at the link below this morning. It's Jeff Passan's list of the top 5 stories from baseball this season and it combines on-field and off-field items. I will warn you that there is an especially painful write-up of Game 6, which makes #2 on his list.
But what struck me is #5 on his list, which was the story of the fan in San Francisco getting beaten almost to death and Shannon Stone's death at RBiA. It made me realize that my sports pain over Game 6 (which is substantial and shows no signs of abating) is pretty insignificant compared to what those two families must feel every day.
Anyway, just wanted to get that thought out there and figured that since no one had posted an OT thread yet, that this would be the best way.
Feel free to take this down any and all of the rabbit holes that LSB loves so much.
