Lots of speculation out there ( I guess because it's a slow Friday). Last night, MLB Network Hot stove had their guys speculate on who has the goods to trade for Young... Their hypothesis is that if he's demanding a trade, he will open up beyond the 8 teams on his current contract (before his 10/5 kick in in May). To the jump for some speculation:
Last night, I think it was Mitch Williams who suggested Joe Blanton and Placido Polanco for Michael Young... But how about this, from the Star Tribune in Minneapolis:

The Twins don't plan to sign him long term. Last weekend, they avoided arbitration with a one-year, $4.3 million deal. From what I've heard, their long-term talks went nowhere, with Liriano's camp hinting it wanted a three-year, $39 million contract.
For a guy on the rebound from injury, before his injury he had electric stuff... 3/39 should be easy for current mgmt, if they think this guy will stay healthy. Of course, Texas would have to kick in some dough...
