Well actually not really.
But since I'm living by myself now that I've moved to Canberra to study, I do have to do the cooking thing and buying ingredients thing.
So what I'm requesting from you guys is the following. Obviously you can just pick:
-Relatively cheap, relatively easy-to-cook/prepare ingredients to add to sandwiches and tortillas and anything of that ilk. This could include obvious shit, like sliced tomatoes or capsicum or whatever. Actually, scratch the "relatively easy-to-prepare, just tasty ingredients.
-Recipes that produce a ton of food - like, they can last me for at least a couple of meals, without requiring a million different ingredients (you can judge how many). Like pasta or rice or something
-Someone probably ought to remind me the importances in making sweet tea. I want to give that stuff a shot.
-Chili ingredient debate? Sure, do it. But totally suggest random tips about making chili, outside of just dumping the ingredients for simmering (if it really is that simple.)
-Soup, sauces? Any preferences?
-Does anyone here actually eat salad?
-Endow me with the methods you guys personally followed in terms of feeding yourselves in college. I don't really care how useful these ideas are, just do it.
-Link me to good websites which are useful and stuff.
And yeah, turn this into a food discussion thread if you want.
