FanPost

Please debunk this myth

Richie Whitt had this to say in his column today:

*Happy April 15th. For most of my life as a Rangers fan this day meant filing my taxes and writing off my baseball team."

Now AJM recently pointed out (either in print or on a podcast) that there really hasn't been that many years where this team was just awful (he alluded to 2 3-4 year periods).  Is there somebody that has the 20 minutes to list the Games Back for each of the Rangers 39 years in Texas on April 15th? I venture to guess that they were only 5+ games out 5 or less times in their history (if that - hell its 2 weeks into the season).  For grins, I bet you get the same answer on May 1st.

This annoys me right up there with "when are they gonna spend some money and get some pitchin in here?"

What an asshat.
