The most interesting aspects of this story are going unreported, probably because management and the players aren't talking, or are unwilling to say anything even on deep background because the lid is on tight. Questions I'm sure we'd all like to see answered include the following:
1. Since Bosley was Wash's hire, who tipped the first domino leading to Bosley's dismissal and what was that overall process like? (Who ultimately pulled the trigger, etc.) Did players have to circumvent Wash and take the problem to JD?
2. Has the Bosley experiment and its negative results impacted Wash's standing in the clubhouse?
3. Same question as #2 but strike "in the clubhouse" and insert " with Nolan and JD?"
4. WHAT WAS DISCUSSED IN THE CLOSED-DOOR TEAM MEETING YESTERDAY? Because I'll bet anybody a case of beer that the hitting coach wasn't the sole topic of conversation. Here's a WAG: if Bosley's firing came about as a result of player complaints that were made directly to the GM (i.e., some guys went around Wash), then yesterday's meeting might have been all about restoring order.
