Obscure Team of the Week - Georgia Tech (Last Year - 6-7, 4-4 conf., lost to AFA in Independence Bowl)

2011 Big Games - @ NC State, Maryland, @ Miami, Clemson, Va. Tech, Georgia

Returning Starters - Roddy Jones, RB; Will Jackson, RG; Omoregie Uzzi, LG; Phil Smith, LT; Stephen Hill, WR; Steven Sylvester, OLB; Julian Burnett, ILB; Jason Peters, DE; Logan Walls, NG; Izaan Cross, DE

Commentary - Georgia Tech stumbled to a 6-7 record last year - only the second losing season in Johnson's 14 year career as a head coach - after winning a conference title just two years ago.

Was 2010 an aberration, or are the Yellow Jackets slipping down the food chain in the ACC? The 2011 season will go a long way toward answering this pivotal question. The Jackets could make it back to a bowl game for a 15th straight season, but don't expect this climb to be too much of a factor in the Coastal Division race.

Heisman Hopefuls - 1. LaMichael James - RB, Oregon 2. Andrew Luck - QB, Stanford 3. Kellen Moore - QB, Boise State 4. Marcus Lattimore - RB, South Carolina 5. Trent Richardson - RB, Alabama 6. Landry Jones - QB, OU 7. Brandon Weeden - QB, Okie State 8. Justin Blackmon - WR, Okie State 9. Ryan Broyles - WR, OU 10. Robert Griffin - QB, Baylor(I can see Aqua and Ghetto fapping away now.)

Let's try an experiment this go around, because we all know enough of our alma maters and our enemies as well. So, throw out a program, like I did here with Georgia Tech, that you're not all too familiar with but love to watch when their on the tele, and let us know what you expect from them this year.

RABBLE ON!!!!!

(Next Week - Dave Campbell's Texas Football - WITH SOME TEXAS HS PREDICTIONS!!!!!)
