Beckett has pitched like a true ace in 2011, which brings me to my biggest complaint about advanced metrics: They don’t measure the impact of specific starts, such as Beckett’s April 10 gem against the Yankees (8 IP, 2 H, 0 ER, 10 K) when the Sox were reeling, or the other two Yankee starts (both wins, which was huge because last season it felt like the Yanks just had his number), or his one-hit complete game shutout in Tampa on June 15 (coming off a 4-0 loss to start the series the night before).

There's more synergy between those processes in MyEclipse
What I don’t like is when I change a method signature, the hot deployment fails. JRebel takes care of all of that. Previously, it was only for normal Eclipse, but jury rigged it into working with MyEclipse. I’m curious what the specific release version is like though

I think because I already have so much music in rotation, I believe I don’t need any more. But then I go check out something new, and more often than not, it slides in too. So the FAA is currently in a partial shutdown thanks to Congress
and it doesn’t look like it’ll end very soon. Meanwhile, the government can’t collect the taxes they put on each ticket. Almost every airline has simply raised prices so that passengers are paying exactly what they were before the shutdown and keeping the extra money. Congress is angry about this, but I’m not really sure what they expect the airlines to do…

Its called Jubilee Academic Center.
Based out of San Antonio. There’s about 10 of them in that area. They’re expanding to South Texas and opening a branch in Kingsville.
I always assumed public schools offered better job security. I’m curious about the difference in pay too.

I’ve earned my alt. cert. as a generalist 4-8, so I can teach all the core subjects: English, Math, Science, and Social Studies. I also earned my alt. cert. as a EC-12 special education.
My main concern going in was classroom management, but the program I’m in is pretty thorough and we spent a few days working on that.

This the reception is terrible..
So bad that I almost have to keep one FM station on 103.3 always on the very great chance I need to listen to Rangers game and I can’t get reception, its horrible.

Last night before Jason Kubel’s based loaded double the broadcast showed his career stats with bases loaded. It was something like .400 with 7 grand slams. Obviously very good and impressive numbers. Not shown but important to the following story/question is that he has ~70 career PA with the bases loaded.
I live in Minnesota and was with a bunch of Twins fans. They responded with "Kubel is a great hitter with the bases loaded". My response was "Small Sample Size. Kubel has definitely hit well in the past with the bases loaded but there isn’t nearly enough data to say ‘he is a great hitter with the bases loaded’. I also mentioned that most hitters hit better in that situation because they see better pitches to hit and they are likely facing a pitcher that is fatigued or not pitching well.
Everyone in the room thought I was crazy and wouldn’t take my argument. Here’s my question. Am I wrong about this? Was I forming my argument incorrectly? Is it a lost cause and I shouldn’t bother? What do you think?

El Azteca is a pretty popular Tex-Mex place. I also like the taqueria that’s on East Riverside. Ruby’s is pretty close to campus for BBQ
Go to Juan in a Million. It's not super close to downtown and it's in a sketchy area.
But it is sooooo worth it. Order the Don Juan breakfast taco. You will not regret it.

Yeah, if you can get by there on a weekday before, say 10:45 am, you're good.

I get the Chicken Gyro platter.
Comes with rice, choice of soup or salad (I get lentil soup), and a thing of greek yogurt for dressing, which is absolutely fantastic. I usually hate yogurt too, but it’s got enough zest to where it’s perfect. It’s about 7 bucks for lunch, if you get water.
They’re open 11-3:30, and then 5-9.
