60-47 - Rangers finally score a run off of Brett Cecil, lose

I sure am tired of Brett Cecil.

But, hey, the Angels are losing 11-2 have lost 12-2 so the night isn't a complete loss.

wondering about RD

seems that teams that win inevitably have higher run differential – in effect , it’s a trailing indicator

NYY and BOS have highest RD b/c they win 2 out of 3 games, right?

I have trouble understanding which is more important, W/L or RD. i know that w/l is the only thing that matters, but how can someone differentiate RD from W/L in terms of expected outcome?

teams with high RD have good w/l and vice versa. how can someone conclusively point to one over the other?
