Cleveland gets 16 hits in the contest while Seattle accounts for 19 in a losing cause. Alex Rodriguez steals his 30th base in the game‚ to go along with his 31 homers. He's the 6th 30-30 player in AL history.

The Red Sox bring back OF-1B Mike Stanley from the Blue Jays trading minor league pitchers Peter Munro and Jay Yennaco.

The Braves obtain IF Greg Colbrunn from the Rockies in exchange for minor league pitchers David Cortes and Mike Porzio.

The Ladies Professional Baseball League suspends the remainder of the season due to low attendance. In the last game played‚ the Long Beach Aces lose to the San Jose Spitfires‚ 7-0.

one of the few I’ve seen because I watched it alone… Leonera, or Lion’s Den. Gusman is the star, and she’s excellent and the movie’s good.

I saw two movies last night

“Crazy Stupid Love” and “Friends With Benefits”

When I bought my tickets, the movie theatre guy was like, “two love stories? really?” I just laughed and said, “why not?”

Anyhow, “Crazy Stupid Love” was definitely better than “Friends With Benefits” (although the latter was better than I even expected it to be). CSL was just really honest about relationships. I wavered between laughing and feeling sympathy. And at various points in the movie, I related to almost every character.

FWB was cute and funny though. I adore Mila (although I couldn’t stop looking at her eyes now that I know they’re two different colors), and she was actually really good. Justin, however … I’m just not sure it was a good role for him. Or maybe because I’ve been a fan of his for so long, I have a trouble seeing past his big personality to whatever character he’s playing.

Emma Stone is in both movies, btw, although her role in “FWB” is really small.

I start my job on Monday. This is probably the last weekend I’ll have off for a year and a half.
I hosted a group dinner, helped a friend move, worked out twice, wrote two articles, went out to bars last night and am hitting Fry Street again tonight.
