Off day yesterday, but the Rangers picked up a half-game in the standings when the Angels lost to the Yankees, 6-5, meaning that Texas is now up 2 on Anaheim.

The Greenberg/Ryan group took over the ownership of the Texas Rangers one year ago today, and Jeff Wilson looks back on the first year with the new owners.

Anthony Andro takes a lookat the big ten game road trip that the Rangers are embarking on, with Texas at Oakland for three games, at Anaheim for four games, and at Chicago for three games after that.

Drew Davison's notes focus on the return of Craig Gentry to the active roster, and also has some quotes from Brandon McCarthy responding to C.J. Wilson's criticisms of Oakland.

The Ranger website notes include stuff on Gentry returning and Darren O'Day being sent down, C.J. Wilson not liking Oakland, and Mike Napoli and Yorvit Torrealba helping to pick up the slack with Adrian Beltre on the d.l.

T.R. Sullivan has a piece up at the Rangers' website where fans share their fondest memories of the Rangers.
