On This Day in LSB/Ranger History

The Rangers traded for Pudge Rodriguez. And the 10 year old Ranger fan in me was insanely happy. He was going to be the backup to Teagarden. But Teagarden sucked and Pudge got more and more playing time. Either way we still missed the postseason. The principals involved were Matt Nevarez and Jose Vallejo. And I'm pretty sure one of them retired/went to the Air Hogs or some such.
