Three more home games before the Rangers go off on a long road trip.
This past weekend they drew just about 113,000, with almost identical attendance each of the three evenings:
Sunday: 37,431 .
Still on pace for something just under 3 million although it will be interesting to see how the attendance holds up between the weather, weekday series, and the less than stellar opponent over the next few days. Speaking of less than stellar opponents, let's take a look at the three game series against the Mariners:
Monday August 8, Rangers vs. Mariners 7:05 p.m.- Elvis Andrus figurine day, Tickets are plentiful and relatively cheap with lots of good lower box seats available on Stubhub between $20 and $30.
Tuesday- August 9, Rangers vs. Mariners 7:05 p.m. Thirsty Tuesday, but the highlight is that they will be awarding Bengie Molina his championship ring and he'll also throw out the first pitch. If anything, tickets are even more plentiful (nearly 3,000 available) and cheaper ($20-$25 for lower box) on Stubhub than they are for Monday.
Wednesday-August 10 Rangers vs. Mariners 7:05 p.m.- It's website Wednesday with many seats on the second and third level available for $10 using the Ozarka coupon code. Rangers players and a Rangers coach will be signing autographs in the concourse, between 5:30 and 6:00. It's also dollar hot dog day, Tickets are a couple of dollars more expensive on Stubhub as compared to Monday but the difference is quite marginal
One last ticket special to mention. In honor of Michael Young's 2000th hit the Rangers are offering a ticket special for the upcoming series against the Rays. Enter Michael as your coupon code online for any of the three games against Tampa Bay August 30-Sept. 1. You'll get corner box or lower reserved seats for $20. Corner box seats usually aren't included in these offers and are a good deal at that price so this is well worth taking advantage of if you want pretty good seats to that series.
