Sid Meier's Civilization 2

First Windows based version of the game and possibly one of the greatest strategy games ever made. The only one in the series to really come close was 4. Every other one was a cheap knock off.

I still play a modified Birth of the Federation a few times a year

Romulans and Klingons have cloaking devices that gives them a big advantage. I always play as the Federation which actually may be the hardest faction to play. I use the Ultimate Dominion Mod which greatly improves the game and adds the Dominion as a playable faction.
