depends on how long he wants to play
if he plays 50 more games this season and averages 20 points, that’ll give him almost 1100 more points and i’ll think he’s a good bet to average 20 the next year too

Where could they trade him (not Dallas) that he might extend?

1: It's Grant. 2: This reads weird.
On if the Rangers’ pursuit of Prince Fielder is simply a negotiating tactic for Yu Darvish:
Grant : I think there’s a lot is a lot of negotiating tactic going on here, but I think, when you cut to the chase, I think the Rangers are interest in signing both Yu Darvish and Prince Fielder. I expect the Darvish deal is going to get done. Nolan Ryan has been very upfront about saying he thinks it’s going to get done, they feel optimistic about that. But it’s very, very clear that this is where he wants to be. He’s waiting all winter, guys who normally have the kind of contract demands he has usually sign in December. We’re now in the second week of January and he’s still sitting there unsigned. It appears that he and Scott Boras have been waiting all along for the Rangers to get their Darvish situation settled so they could get down to brass tacks between Prince and the Range

That was 5 full minutes without scoring a point.

Dirk needs to sit some games.
He looks like he can barely move.
They will. Once everyone gets healthy.
It’s tough right now when you have to run your offense through Jason Terry.

Dirk's knee looks like its dead.
He isn’t even looking to score. He catches the ball and looks to find Terry.

Are you speculating, or have they talked about this?
I hadn’t heard about it. That would explain why he’s showing no want.
Causing Jihad to immediately trade for him.

He's said he's having trouble bending his knees.
He’s got a brace on the knee and he looks pretty immobile at this point. I would sit him a week or however long it takes for him to get healthy.

Odom is too good a player to be this bad.
And you can still see it in him at times. He’s going to get better at some point.
LOL

Kidd is killing us.

Kidd needs another little injury.

I know Terry hasn't been great tonight
but you gotta get him in for Kidd at some point

Terry has made some pretty bad decisions tonight too.
I don’t mind him but I’d like Delonte out there.

meh
I wouldn’t go that far. True he’s been great for the last couple of years at the end of games, but he had some noticeable mix-ups at the end of games early in his time in Dallas

His 4th quarter performance has been very good for awhile, irrc
no numbers on hand, though, so I’m not sure when that started
He's probably referring to the playoff game where he let Nash walk into that big 3.

Yup
that was the one in his first year here that I remember the most

He's had brain dead moments, no doublt.
But he’s one of the better clutch, late game shot makers of this generation. Very underrated in that regard.
That's just who JET is.

What is up with Dirk
He’s hanging out at the 3 point line, he looks completely dead out there.
I really hope his knee isn’t serious.
Kidd did his very best to kill us.

Give Kidd a month off.
That was horrific.
Haha Kidd with his best efforts to give it away

He said the Mavs are soft in the midddle.
And that they’re trying to outscore people. Oh, and Stevenson was one of our top two defenders.
Just couldn’t have been more wrong.
He was right about the Blake Griffin discussion though. Kenny and Shaq tabbed Griffin as the best PF in the NBA, Barkley disagreed.
He wasn't right about the overrated part though.

The fact that he keeps harping
on how we’re missing Stevenson so much is getting really annoying

He probably doesn't even watch their games, even on TNT.
Everything he’s said about them this season has been dead wrong.
by behindthebag on Jan 20, 2012 12:36 AM CST up reply actions
Heh
I don’t know how anybody watching this team could say they’re trying to outscore people..
Stevenson would’ve been nice at the cost but he’s not as big a deal as the media are making him out to be.
And I agree on Griffin. Saw a report the other day that said the Clippers will not trade him for anybody in the league. That’s insane.
Said he doesn't believe in the Mavs this year because they got smaller (lol)
Also laughed and said even though the stats and numbers show the Mavs defense has been better than last season, he thinks they aren’t good (lol). They won’t contend this season.
Went on to say Blake Griffin is overrated (lol).

Hit the breaking news sounder, Expo.
A native of Dallas, Williams is also fond of the idea of playing for the Mavericks. Dallas lacks the pieces to pull off a trade, but if Williams becomes a free agent and the Nets don’t get Howard, the Mavericks, who will have enough cap room to offer him a maximum contract, are his likeliest landing spot, a source said.
….
If the Nets’ nightmare scenario comes to pass and they don’t get Howard, sources said they will not trade Williams for marginal players merely to avoid losing him for nothing in free agency. If Williams walks, the Nets will be left with enough cap room to sign two high-salaried players, which they view as a better option than eating up their cap space with average talent.
