Im thinking tonights game may end up being the highest rated division game in the history of the NFL.
My current thoughts are its gonna be close or a blowout... nothing hovering around the spread....
here are some fun facts about the stadium tonight:
Gillette Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium located in Foxborough, Massachusetts, 21 miles (34 kilometers) southwest of downtown Boston and 20 miles (32 km) from downtown Providence, Rhode Island. It serves as the home stadium and administrative offices for the New England Patriots football team and the New England Revolution soccer (FIFA football) team. In 2012, it will also become the home stadium for the football program of the University of Massachusetts (UMass), making it the largest football stadium in the Mid-American Conference.[5] The facility opened in 2002, replacing the old Foxboro Stadium.[6] The seating capacity is 68,756, including 6,000 club seats and 87 luxury suites. The stadium is owned and operated by Kraft Sports Group, a subsidiary of The Kraft Group, the company through which businessman Robert Kraft owns the Patriots and Revolution.[7] The stadium was originally known as CMGI Field before the naming rights were bought by Gillette after the "dot-com" bust.[8] Although Gillette has since been acquired by Procter & Gamble, the stadium retains the Gillette name because P&G has continued to use the Gillette brand name and because the Gillette company was founded in the Boston area. Gillette and the Patriots jointly announced in September 2010 that their partnership, which includes naming rights to the stadium, will extend through the 2031 season.[9] Additionally, uBid (until April 2003 a wholly owned subsidiary of CMGI) as of 2009 continues to sponsor one of the main entrance gates to the stadium.[10]

I’m sure you know about the Pirates of the Caribbean ghost, George….a few years ago, I had told my oldest daughter about George before our trip. We’re on PoTC and I’m sitting next to my daughter and while she’s looking one way, I flip her hair really quickly and look the other way before she sees me. She looks at me and says, “did you do that?”. Of course, I say “do what?”. To this day, she talks about that ride….she is convinced “George” was messing with her hair.

However John 3:16 annoys me to no end if only because it spawns a multitude of what I call “facebook christians”. We all know them, they’re the people who post every couple days on facebook their new bible verse of the day just so you know they REALLY believe in Jesus/God. However when you actually see them in real life they don’t exactly live up to the typical values one would normally associate with Christianity.
Tebow at least seems like he actually practices what he preaches, so I do have to give him credit there. (although I sure am not a fan of the Focus on the Family association either).

I find that the folks who make fun of statements like this (and the one above) are (a) Tebow haters, but (b) steadfastly maintain their hate has nothing to do with Tebow's faith.
