The Rangers are one of the most-talked-about baseball teams in America, not far behind the rich East Coast franchises. In a sport followed most closely on the local and regional levels, the team from Arlington has become familiar to even casual American sports fans.
The Rangers have a likable, well-rounded roster and one of the best farm systems in baseball. They have a lucrative television rights deal and World Series revenues to tap. Nearly 3 million fans came to Rangers Ballpark last year. Free agents want to play there. Over the last two years, no team has played more postseason games than the Texas Rangers.

Me too. So, the Rangers have created a brand?

The truth about MLers from a MLer, Todd Coffey:
"In my heart of hearts, if it's the right contract, I would look to definitely come back to the Nationals."
Wow.
Over the last two years, no team has played more postseason games than the Texas Rangers.
I never thought I’d live to see the day that somebody said something like this.

It's hard to play more post season games than a team that just went to back to back world series

woodman circle in sherman in the OT thread.
Scout: He was a first-round pick right? Got a huge bonus?
KG: Oh yeah.
Scout: Well, he spent a lot of it on milkshakes.

My first reaction to that was "wow" then "well duhh"
Pretty sure almost every team with back to back WS appearances also has the most playoff games in two years.
Football can go to hell. The Rangers aren't ready for football season and neither am I.

Yeah, but did you ever think anyone would say it about the Rangers?
It still blows my mind that I’ve been to 2 World Series games in Arlington.

Must be taking them awhile to close out the other playoff teams

Other people buy season tickets to see him
He buys season tickets to see the Rangers
When JD walks in the room,
he quietly surrenders his seat and curls up at JD’s feet.

I’ll take the trade off though.
