Funny...
My buddy and former bandmate actually played with these guys for a while after moving to New Orleans. It wasn’t his type of band and he had absolutely no control or contribution to the band other than playing guitar and singing backup. Since he wasn’t enjoying it, he left and around two weeks or months later they got the soundtrack deal.
We joked about it at the time, but to this day, he says he has never regretted his decision. Yes, he finally made it big…..in the corporate world.
