Asst. GM Levine: If Rangers don't sign Prince Fielder, it won't be for a lack of creativity

Quote from Thad:
“I will just tell you that Jon Daniels is an amazingly creative general manager,” Levine said on MLB Network Radio when asked about the club’s financial flexibility. “We are aware of acquisition costs of almost every player who’s on the market, including the guys who are still out there. There are active discussions internally to see if there’s any ways we can improve the team, and we’re always abreast of those.”
I like this term “acquisition cost”, and I’m guessing it means they know the acquisition cost of the Rangers’ players as well, as in “it would take Matt Garza for a team to acquire Martin Perez”.
So, the Rangers are clearly trying to get Prince, and Prince truly wants to be here, and Boras is being very clear to Prince what he is leaving on the table by coming here, and it’s all up to Prince.
Everybody needs somebody to love... I need Yu, Yu, Yu! I need Yu, Yu, Yu!
I hope I haven't offended the Blues Brothers with this.
I liked the term "abreast"
Nice to hear the comment on JD’s creativity too.
