Josh Hamilton stood under the ball for the final out of the fourth inning that would have seen Ryan Dempster's abortion of a start conclude with the game tied. Instead, Hamilton dropped the ball, allowed the A's to scored two go-ahead runs on the error to bust open the game, and then laughed about it in the dugout when questioned by his manager. The A's have tacked on a run while the Rangers look like they've accepted their fate.
This is going to be a messy divorce.
