1. Geno Smith didn't have to win the game in Austin. His unknown until now RB did. With that loss, UT might have missed out on a top ten ranking, CGD coming to Dallas, and a fair to good chance of winning the Big XII. Personally speaking, I think it's down to KSU and WVU at this point.

2. Semi-nots fans must be crying red and gold, still. I don't remember who put out the fun fact, but apparently Florida State has a consecutive years losing streak to unranked underdogs when they were ranked. Sounds like a Bob Uecker stat.

3. TCU? Well, you saw what happened. Wouldn't shock me if Casey PawlHawl started this week.

4. LSU is beatable or Florida is a legitimate threat to Bama's reign in the SEC, you tell me.

5. tOSU could easily run the table in the B1G and still not get an invite to the BCS NCG. That's how bad the B1G is.

6. Notre Dame football is relevant again! (Until they lose to someone they're not supposed to. I've got my eye on you, Pitt.)

7. Speaking of the BCShit, the first rankings come out after this week's bevy of games.

8. Only 4 ranked match-ups this week, but there's some good ones in there. In fact, you could make a case to watch only those 4 games vs anything else.
