The Cleveland Indians, Cincinnati Reds, and Arizona Diamondbacks have reportedly made a three-way trade that results in the Diamondbacks getting shortstop Didi Gregorius, lefthanded pitcher Tony Sipp, and first baseman Lars Anderson, Cleveland getting pitchers Trevor Bauer, Matt Albers and Bryan Shaw and centerfielder Drew Stubbs, and the Reds getting outfielder Shin-Soo Choo and utilityman Jason Donald.

Pretty huge deal, and this can be interpreted in one of two ways by Rangers fans. First is that the Diamondbacks have filled their hole at shortstop, which means that they can now trade Justin Upton to fill their hole at third base, with the Rangers being able to send them Mike Olt, rather than having to involve a third team to get the Diamondbacks a shortstop.

The second way is that the Diamondbacks, who now have a shortstop, can hold onto Upton rather than dealing him to fill that hole, meaning that the Rangers are going to have to turn their attention back to Josh Hamilton.
