I woke up this morning and had a conversation with myself that went something like this: ME: Holy Crap! It's 12/21/12 and the world didn't end last night! That's Good News! SELF: Yes it is good news! ME: No not really. That means I have to go to work and that's bad news. SELF: Yea, that's bad news. ME: No it's good news, I'm lucky to have a job. It pays the bills and keeps me fed so its good news. SELF: Yes, that is good news. ME: No, its bad news. I don't manage my money very well and I'm deep in debt so it's bad news. SELF: Oh my, that is bad news. ME: No it's good news. I think I've finally got a handle on things so I see a silver lining in all this so it's good news. SELF: Well good, that is good news. ME: No, that's bad news. My history shows I'm not good at learning from my mistakes so I may have to file bankruptcy! SELF: I see, that is bad news. ME: No it's good news. When I emerge from bankruptcy I'll be able to afford Rangers tickets so it's good news. SELF: That is good news, congratulations! ME: No, thats bad. The Rangers didn't sign Greinke or Hamilton and the let Napoli sign else where, so its bad news. SELF: yea, that is bad news. ME: No, thats good news, Greinke is overated, Hamiliton is an accident waiting to happen and Napoli has hip issues. So thats good news And so as the world turns...
