ELVIS! - Jesse Johnson-US PRESSWIRE

Saturday morning Rangers news and links

The world didn't end. Guess I gotta pay those credit card bills now.

Buster Olney writes that the Rangers are sticking to their plan and aren't panicking, despite missing out on both Zack Greinke and Josh Hamilton.

Jeff Wilson has a story that includes quotes from Jon Daniels, saying that the team isn't done yet with its offseason moves. Wilson says the team's focus is up the middle, and also says that the front office isn't optimistic about getting a long-term deal done with Elvis Andrus.

Richard Durrett writes that the Rangers are still looking to make moves to improve the club.

T.R. Sullivan has a story on the Rangers claiming Jeff Beliveau on waivers, saying Beliveau gives the Rangers another bullpen option if they move Robbie Ross to the rotation.

Gerry Fraley says the Rangers have expressed interest in 31 year old Japanese infielder Konsuke Tanaka as a potential utility infielder. Fraley also says the Rangers went most of the last two months of the season without a "true" utility infielder, which makes me wonder what Jurickson Profar was.
