I hope you had a pleasant Festivus yesterday. Did you get some things off your chest during the airing of grievances? Did you successfully pin the head of household during the feats of strength?
There's not much out there today. This is probably because it's an extended holiday weekend, baseball is still months away from mattering to everyone besides people like us, and because basically every potential target of the Texas Rangers this offseason is not a Texas Ranger.
Nevertheless, the DMN provides a recap of Thad Levine's appearance on Jim Bowden's XM Radio show. Levine talks about how the Rangers weren't in on some free agents that were tied to the team through rumors and also admits that the Rangers have (or had) been trying to acquire Justin Upton without including Elvis Andrus or Jurickson Profar.
And, uh, here's a pre-Christmas Power Rankings from David Schoenfield. That's right. Power Rankings in December.
Did you know that there is supposed to be a low of 27 degrees in Arlington, TX tomorrow? Why that's cold enough to be Christmas.
