Streeter Lecka

The day after Christmas, like the Rangers roster, is all about leftovers.

Michael Young has an opportunity to GIDP for Mexico in the World Baseball Classic, according to Gerry Fraley, though there is not yet any word on whether Josh Reddick has agreed to play for Trashcanistan.

Gerry Fraley also quotes a press release from the Rangers and a statement from Al Oliver mourning the passing of Brad Corbet, the mercurial former Rangers owner who sounds a lot like Conrad Hilton as depicted in Mad Men.

There's not much else out there today, so enjoy this story about Operation Christmas Drop from Airman Magazine, where the USAF bombs Pacific Islanders with kindness every year. Also, here's a completely unrelated story about cargo cults.
