Bowden says trade Profar/Olt/Perez for Stanton/Nolasco

Should Jurickson be a Marlin? - Jayne Kamin-Oncea-US PRESSWIRE

Jim Bowden runs down five trades/moves that should happen, with the headliner being a Rangers/Marlins swap

Over at ESPN Insider, Jim Bowden has a list of five trades and/or moves he thinks should be made, and the first one is a blockbuster involving the Rangers.

Bowden proposes that the Rangers trade Jurickson Profar, Mike Olt and Martin Perez to the Miami Marlins in exchange for Giancarlo Stanton and Ricky Nolasco.

The Rangers replace Josh Hamilton with a power-hitting right field monster who is still under team control for four more years, they get Nolasco to be their fifth starter, and they just have to give up their top three prospects to do it.

Honestly, I'm not sure if the Marlins would make this deal. Part of the incentive for them to do it, I guess, would be dumping Nolasco, who is probably earning more in 2013 than he's worth.

But that being said, there's a poll below...would you want the Rangers to pull the trigger on this deal, if we assume for the sake of discussion it were out there?
