If you don't believe the multi-team Upton trade talk, Wednesday night a Rangers official called an Astros officisl and said, "we got Upton."

So Gammons says a Ranger official told an Astro official last Wednesday night that they've acquired Justin Upton.

Gammons carries weight on these things.

UPDATE -- Oh, yeah, today's Friday, not Thursday. Which means the comment was made two nights ago, not last night.
