Former major league pitcher Terry Mathews, a fifth round draft choice of the Texas Rangers in the 1987 draft who appeared in 74 games with Texas in 1991 and 1992, before going on to pitch with the Marlins, the Orioles, and the Royals, has died today of a heart attack.
He was 47.
