I should have cracked down on it before. I am generally anti-illegal-downloads. But I also hate MLB’s blackout restrictions and the fact that even if I buy MLB.tv I can’t watch Rangers games on it, so I sort of let it go.
But yeah, that’s on instructions from above, and I don’t have a problem those instructions, really.

They are broadcasting all the games in HD on MLB.tv
I’m watching right now. As long as you have a good internet connection I would say MLB.tv is the way to go unless you are home for most games and prefer the couch setting. Also if you have a streaming device (PS3, XBOX 360, etc) You can watch your MLB.tv subscription on your tv.

I've been away from home for a few days
and following LSB on my phone but don’t like to post from my phone so my question may be a bit old. Anyways, from the reports I remember reading on Yu about pitching in Japan was that he was throwing 91-93 mostly, touching has high as 96. In his game a couple days ago, he threw several at 94 and hit 96. Sure it is easier to throw harder if only working one inning but I would think that would be more than offset by the fact thats its so early in ST and pitchers generally are not able/willing to throw their hardest at this point. My question basically is did I misread reports, is he going to be working more in the 92-95 range touching higher than 96, or am I just reading too much into one appearance and a few gun readings (don’t say this, its the easy way out ;) ). There has been talk about lower mounds in the NPB and the ball is lighter, I know a higher mound can increase velo and I’d assume the weight of the ball can make a difference one way or another as well. I realize I’m basically talking about working at just 1-2 mph higher on his fastball from what I initially thought but just curious.

You start from scratch. Fielder makes them better this year than they would have been because of no VMart. A lot of the gain could be lost due to home park and Cabrera playing third, though.

After team workouts on Thursday, Darvish stayed back and played some catch with Hajime Watabe (interpreter/international scout) on flat ground. The distance between Darvish and Watabe expanded little-by-little until they were at a max distance of about sixty to seventy meters. From there, the distance was closed. When the two were at about twenty meters apart, he had Watabe squat and Darvish threw sixteen pitches, including off-speed pitches. Darvish threw about fifty baseballs when the two were playing catch at various distances so he threw the ball about seventy times in all. The Rangers have accepted this as part of Darvish’s routine.
