Check It Out! with Dr. Steve Brule is a spin-off of Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!, starring John C. Reilly as Dr. Steve Brule. The series premiered on Cartoon Network's late night programing block, Adult Swim, on May 16, 2010. The first season ended on June 20, 2010, with a total of six episodes.

On November 7, 2011, Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim announced they are filming a second season. On November 13, 2011, Adult Swim announced in a bump the episodes will air sometime in spring 2012. On January 27, 2012, the network announced in a promo that the show would return March 18, 2012. The second season will be six episodes long.[1]
