Texas is now up 8 games on Anaheim, after yesterday's 10-3 win. And Josh Hamilton is on a whole nother plane at this point...

The really interesting development from yesterday's game is that C.J. Wilson, who threw 22 pitches while getting just one out before the almost two hour rain delay knocked him out of the game, will be taking the ball again today, as Mike Scioscia apparently decided that C.J. can bounce back quickly enough after the shortened outing to go ahead and start less than 24 hours later.

Jeff Wilson writes in his game story that Yu Darvish wasn't fazed by the rain last night.

T.R. Sullivan says in his game story that Yu Darvish earned the respect of his teammates by coming out and pitching after the extended delay last night.

Anthony Andro writes in his game story that Josh Hamilton is making it "rain home runs."

Richard Durrett has his "Rapid Reaction" up at the ESPN Dallas blog.

Joey Matches writes about Darvish v. C.J., how Darvish returning and C.J. not returning fits into the narrative, and the questionable decision of the Rangers to start the game on time when it was obvious that there was rain hitting the stadium soon after the first pitch.

Behind the paywall, Evan Grant talks about the greatness of Josh Hamilton.

Durrett also has a column on Hamilton's incredible week.

Richard Justice also has a column on Hamilton.

To mix things up, Gil Lebreton has a column on Yu Darvish's start yesterday.

Yorvit Torrealba left yesterday's game after the rain delay because he was hit in the head by Albert Pujols' bat, but after the game, Torrealba said he felt fine and the team just wanted to be safe. Given that, I'm guessing Torrealba starts again today.

Sullivan's notes talk about Elvis Andrus's hot streak, the possibility of Derek Holland and Colby Lewis flip-flopping spots in the rotation, Ron Washington's comments on C.J. Wilson, and Josh Hamilton's bat.

Wilson's notes talk about Washington and C.J., Torrealba getting hit, and Washington using Joe Nathan in a four run game.
