Scott Feldman reportedly to start again Tuesday

SEATTLE, WA - MAY 23: Starting pitcher Scott Feldman #39 of the Texas Rangers is removed from the game by manager Ron Washington #38 after giving up a grand slam to Alex Liddi of the Seattle Mariners at Safeco Field on May 23, 2012 in Seattle, Washington. (Photo by Otto Greule Jr/Getty Images)

From Jeff Wilson on Twitter:

While there may be a certain amount of complaining about this from some quarters, the reality is that Feldman is still the best option. Robbie Ross and Alexi Ogando aren't stretched out, Martin Perez and Neil Ramirez haven't pitched well, and there isn't going to be a signing or trade between now and then.

Feldman, obviously, didn't have a good start, walking too many batters and allowing a killer grand slam to Alex Liddi. That said, it is one game, and there isn't much reason for this start to significantly change what you think of Feldman as a starter, whether you think he's a viable starting pitcher or whether you think he shouldn't be in any rotation.

I suspect Feldman will be in the rotation for at least three or four more starts.
