The season is chugging along with a fine combination of joy and panic. I think it's time to start thinking about the next LSB tailgate extravaganza.
Things to consider:
Date
My suggestion is for Saturday, September 29th versus the Angels. That's the last home series of the year and it's got AL West showdown potential and should be as cool as it's going to get compared to July/August. I'm also volunteering to handle the group ticket process.
Food & Drinks
jam suggested after the last tailgate that we get pizzas (or something) so that no one is slaving over a hot grill all day and not getting much of a chance to hang out with their LSBros. I like that idea, but in this thread we should discuss whether or not to cater (pizza, bbq, tex-mex) or do pot luck or if someone wants to grill. Additionally, we need to see if the brewers (Whiskey, Witt, et al) want to bring kegs of brew or if it should be a BYOB.
Cost
One new thing done for the last tailgate was the option of paying a specified amount of money for food and drink and a certain amount for the tickets. I think this year we should combine the two into one number. Pay X dollars and your ticket, food (and possibly drink if brewers bring stuff) are covered. All you need to do is show up and have a good time. I think we need to come up with an amount that most are comfortable with, I'm thinking $30-40 total per person.

So, in this thread:
- Make suggestions for catering options, pizza, bbq, tex-mex, specific restaurants or if you want to pot luck or volunteer to grill.
- If you're a brewer, let us know if you're down with brewing. If so, come up with an amount to cover it so we can add it to the total cost.
- Suggestions on which date you'd like it to be.
- Suggestions on what amount you want to pay.
