Just dropped a couple hundred on a spa package for the wife's birthday. I will also make for her a basket with all her favorite candy and will probably drop another hundred to hundred fifty on dinner and drinks.
It didn't always used to be this way. But I guess it's true that you spend what you make.
How much is the going rate for birthday/x-mas presents for your significant other? Anniversaries? Do any of you have agreed-to limits, or does it just vary depending on finances and what he/she wants?
