Saturday morning Rangers stuff

Solid 5-3 win on the road for the Rangers, putting another game between themselves and the Angels, who lost to the ChiSox in extra innings last night. Oakland won (in walkoff fashion, of course) against Toronto, so they are still just 4.5 games back, but I'm not as concerned about Oakland as Anaheim...

Drew Davison, in his game story, says Ron Washington likes Matt Harrison's "mean streak" that he has developed this season.

T.R. Sullivan's game story talks about how Washington's decision to leave Mitch Moreland in to hit against a lefty paid off with a three run home run.

Bryan Dolgin has his Rapid Reaction at the ESPN Dallas blog.

Behind the paywall, Evan Grant has a story about Matt Harrison's success on the road.

Josh Hamilton revealed the mysterious issue that he talked about earlier this week, and it turns out it is chewing tobacco.

The S-T's notes talk about Josh Hamilton's use of chewing tobacco, Ron Washington's use of Joe Nathan, and Mark Lowe's rehab schedule.

Sullivan's notes look at Roy Oswalt moving to the bullpen, Nathan getting a day off, and Hamilton's dip habit.
