Hello Rangers fans! First time poster here from Talking Chop, Addicted to Quack, EDSBS, making my first trip out to a Rangers game on Saturday, need some advice. I searched LSB for any guides already made, but couldn't find one, and I apologize if there already is one that simply evaded me.
Anyway, Braves fan here making the dive from Atlanta to Oregon to go to school, planning for a full day Saturday in Arlington for the game. Couple questions I have:
1. Best BBQ or local cuisine in the Arlington/DFW area? Preferably BBQ, but if there's some local legend that needs to be visited, let me know!
2. Parking. Team run lots or private lots or what?
3. Best way to get tickets. Just me and my dad, cross country road trip so the budget is pretty tight, probably no more than $20 each. All we know is that we want to be on the shady 1st base side of the field, but don't know whether to go box office, ticketmaster, stubhub, or scalp.
4.We plan on moseying around, taking in the sights in the park, taking pictures etc. Is this easy/allowed? Or are ushers and security pretty strict?
5. Any other great things to do in the area during the day or at the ballpark?
Thanks again for your help, I am beyond excited to see this park for the first time. I will definitely be rooting for the Rangers!
