Per a variety of folks on Twitter, the Rangers have released some news on tonight's lineup and Mike Napoli.
Regarding tonight's lineup, Adrian Beltre and Josh Hamilton are both getting the day off for precautionary reasons. Beltre hurt his shoulder yesterday on a diving play, although his MRI showed no structural damage, and Hamilton got an injection in his left knee today. Beltre and Hamilton are both day-to-day.
Jurickson Profar is starting at second base today, Michael Young at third base, Leonys Martin in centerfield, and Ian Kinsler at DH.
In regards to the injured Mikes, Mike Olt had an MRI that confirmed that he has plantar fasciitis, and he will be on the shelf for 10-14 days.
Mike Napoli, meanwhile, is scheduled to DH for Frisco tomorrow in their playoff game, and then will be activated on Saturday. Since we are in September and the active rosters are expanded, there will be no need for make a move to clear a spot on the active roster for Napoli.
UPDATE -- Per folks on Twitter, Adrian Beltre talked Ron Washington into letting him DH tonight. Kinsler is at 2B, Profar is on the bench.
