Joey Matches has a good piece up over at BBTiA that talks at length about last night's game, and also drills down on Adrian Beltre and clutch-ness and Derek Holland and maturity-ness.
I mentioned on Twitter last night that Holland now has 559.2 major league innings under his belt. He turns 26 in a couple of weeks. We're getting past the point of Holland having the excuse that he's a young pitcher figuring things out, and we're approaching the point of Holland being who he is. And that's a good starting pitcher who has value, but who is not going to be the top of the rotation guy that we hoped for once upon a time.
