Nelson Cruz has released a statement denying the "allegations and inferences" that he has used performance enhancing drugs.

Cruz has joined Alex Rodriguez and Gio Gonzalez among those who have come out and publicly disputed the story by the Miami New Times linking the three of them to a clinic, Biogenesis, that is described as the "East Coast Balco."
