Craig Biggio will have to wait - Brett Davis-US PRESSWIRE

As expected, no candidate received the requisite 75% of the votes from the BBWAA necessary to be elected to the MLB Hall of Fame this year

The BBWAA has spoken, and they have said, this year, no one is good enough.

As expected, no candidate was able to muster the required 75% support on ballots cast this year, and as a result, the BBWAA has elected no one to the Hall of Fame this year.

Craig Biggio finished with 388 votes (68.2%) to top the vote.

In addition, Evan Grant has a story about his HOF vote, and it includes at the end the details of the ballots of each of the DMN writers who have a vote.
