2013 Community Projections Results: Mitch Moreland

Mitch was a lot better when he had glorious hair - Rick Yeatts

Reviewing the best and worst of the pre-season community projections.

Here's Mitch Moreland's OPS by month for the last three years.

Apr May Jun Jul Aug Sep
2011 .905 .873 .717 .609 .740 .434
2012 .753 .976 .704 .571 .937 .542
2013 .765 .979 .622 .496 .847 .621

It's kind of spooky. He's decent in April, amazing in May. Awful in June and July, the rebounds in August to fall off a cliff in September. But only 6 out of 18 months with an OPS over .800, and 7 months with an OPS under .700. That's not good.

Seriously, he shouldn't have cut his hair.

Congratulations to TheHuntforRedOctober for having the lowest score* with his projection. Here is a spreadsheet with how everyone did.
