A little top ten switcheroo and now we got ourselves a season, folks. LSU/Georgia made it's claim over Aggie/Bama as game of the year, and succeeded.(No joke, that game was effing awesome to watch.) OU proved to all the obvious that Notre Dame is not as good as some thought. Ohio State proved that it's the only mentionable team in the Big 10. And Bama proved that it is, indeed, the #1 team in the nation. I am curious, was that beatdown more of a statement of Bama's prowess or evidence that Ole Miss is, maybe, overrated.
None the less, we have some gems this weekend, starting with the very rare appearance of the burnt orange on a Thursday night. Seriously, when was the last time Texas has been relegated to a Thursday night? I honestly can't remember. BETTER WATCH - UCLA @ Utah. I'm slightly interested in the surprise of the ACC, Maryland, take on the mighty Seminoles and the over exalted Jameis Winston. TCU travels to Norman and visits the reinvented Belldozer, who has now found the gift of the pass. Slightly interesting, maybe, could be the Arky/Florida matchup, with Driskell's b/u starting for the first time. Notre Dame follows up their loss to OU with a visit from Diggler's Sun Devils. Prepare for a losing streak, blue and gold. The weekend's marquee games might be the last 3 on the schedule for Saturday. tOSU travels to Northwestern in what might be their final roadblock to an undefeated season, Baylor gets an under-the-radar West Virginia, who upset the Pokies last weekend, and finally, the fightin' trees of Stanford host Washington.
