Rangers Make Subtle Changes to 2014 Uniforms

This is not the new uniform and that is not a person who will be wearing it - Tim Heitman-US PRESSWIRE

More Texas, less shadowing

If you're into baseball fashion and the Texas Rangers, I have some news for you. If you were hoping for a return of the '70s powder blue look, too bad.

The Rangers have updated the lettering on all of their uniforms for the 2014 season.

You might struggle to see how those are different but the Rangers are changing the coloring of the letters as well as removing the drop shadow from the road and home jersey.

The Rangers are also sticking with TEXAS on all of their jerseys. If you're not a fan of Texas, leave.

Of course, the new jerseys -- including the new No. 84 Prince Fielder jersey -- go on sale on Friday just in time for your holiday shopping needs.
