Mark Smith has a post at FanGraphs which compares, in some detail, each of the farm systems in the A.L. West, aggregating the rankings from a host of different places (including, in the case of the Rangers, incorporating the LSB Community Rankings), weighting them and evaluating the strength and level of risk in each farm system.

You probably won't be surprised to learn that the Rangers have both the strongest farm system in the West, under this methodology, and one of the most high-risk farm systems.
