Joba - USA TODAY Sports

Don Welke was reportedly in Port Charlotte, Florida, yesterday to watch Joba Chamberlain pitch

The New York Post has a blurb today that indicates that Don Welke, one of Jon Daniels' inner-circle front office guys, was at Port Charlotte yesterday specifically to watch Yankees' reliever Joba Chamberlain.

The Ranger bullpen is in flux right now, and Chamberlain is someone the Yankees might be ready to cut bait with.

Chamberlain, 27, has a big right arm but also has had problems staying healthy, as well as drawing criticism for his level of #want. He would be an interesting reclamation project for the Rangers, and would likely represent an upgrade over some of the other guys the Rangers have to choose from for their 2013 pen.
