I bought tickets to this weekend's Baseball Prospectus event at the Ballpark. Unfortunately, an unexpected commitment will prevent me from attending. Below is the itinerary of the event. Last year's Q&A with JD and Don Welke as well as BP's Jason Parks was worth the price of admission itself. Parks will be back, along with Jason Cole and JD will be participating in the Q&A session. If you would be interested in taking one or both of the tickets I bought, please reply here. I paid $64.01 each, but price is entirely negotiable.
11:45 AM - 12:00 PM: Arrive at Texas Rangers Hall of Fame beyond the first base entrance to the stadium and line up at Hall of Fame entrance doors
12:00 - 12:20: Check in at the reception table inside the Hall of Fame and receive your tickets. Proceed to the Hall of Fame auditorium
12:20 - 12:30: Baseball Prospectus staff introductions and itinerary details explained
12:30 - 1:10: Texas Rangers GM Jon Daniels and members of the Rangers staff participate in group Q & A
1:15 - 1:45: Baseball Prospectus staff members participate in group Q & A
1:45: Group directed to seats in the Upper Home Run Porch. (Each ticket includes unlimited grilled chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, nachos, peanuts, popcorn, and soft drinks, served in the air-conditioned grill behind the Upper Home Run Porch. Food service begins when the ballpark gates open and ends two hours after the scheduled game time.)
2:05: Game start time - Texas Rangers vs. the Seattle Mariners
Additionally, each ticket is entitled to a $15 coupon to be used toward a new Baseball Prospectus Premium subscription or a Premium renewal. Subscription coupons will be emailed 2-3 weeks after the game. It's a fun event and I wish I could go. Hopefully someone here can enjoy the game.
