Bad news for the Rangers on the injury front, as both Ian Kinsler and Colby Lewis have suffered setbacks in their return from injury.
Lewis has right elbow soreness, and has been recalled from his rehab stint with AAA Round Rock. He won't pitch again for two weeks, and per T.R. Sullivan in the linked story, he's not going to be back until July, at the earliest.
Ian Kinsler, meanwhile, has "developed a stress reaction in his right ribcage." I don't know what that means, but he's not coming off the disabled list on Sunday, as had been expected, and is on the shelf for at least a couple of more weeks.
So, none of that is good news.
On the plus side, Alexi Ogando is apparently going to be going on a rehab assignment with AA Frisco on Friday, and is expected to be activated and re-join the rotation after that. So that's a good thing.
