Per Mike DiGiovanna on Twitter, Angels outfielder Peter Bourjos has a non-displaced fracture in his right wrist, and will be placed on the 15 day disabled list.
Bourjos, who was starting last night for the first time in almost a week after injuring himself on a slide last Sunday, left yesterday's game after being hit on the wrist in the fourth inning by a Jordan Lyles pitch.
Bourjos, who starts in center field in the Angels' normal alignment, with Mike Trout in left field and Josh Hamilton in right field, is apparently expected to miss two to three weeks.
Bourjos, a tremendous defensive center fielder, has also been hitting well this season, putting up a .326/.385/..450 line in 147 plate appearances in 2013.
With Bourjos hurt and Trout getting a day off today, Josh Hamilton is getting his first action of the season in center field against the Astros today, with J.B. Shuck and Brad Hawpe in the corner outfield spots.
